PATTERN INFORMATION

The Flora Shawl is composed of floral based granny squares with open mesh for a light and delicate garment that is decorational. Several motifs are made and then joined together with the dark green colour to combine the squares without needing to seam them. A border is made around the whole perimeter and then the top edge is sewn or slip stitched together to make the shaping. This is also a great project for using scraps if you would like to have a multi-colored shawl as each component uses very little yarn in each section of the flower.

This pattern is considered intermediate or adventurous beginner. This pattern is written only, not charted. You can make this shawl personalised by making it wider for the circumference and longer in length.
