The Pocket Parrots pattern is a quick, easy, and low-sew pattern that you can customize to make a cockatiel, cockatoo, or an array of different birds by using different yarn colors. The head, body, and tail are all crocheted in one piece. It is designed using plush yarn but works well with other fibers, such as cotton and acrylic yarns, as well. This mini amigurumi bird makes a great keychain accessory. It’s also perfect as a last-minute gift for bird lovers, a party favor for themed parties, a class Valentine’s Day gift, Christmas stocking stuffer, or craft fair product.

Bird number 3 is made with: 1 skein of Honey Bunny in col. Eucalyptus (98), 1 skein of Baby Snuggle Solid in Sunshine (37), 1 skein of Toucan in col. Dark Turquoise (23), 1 skein of Friends Cotton 8/4 in col. Dark Yellow (26), 1 skein of Friends Cotton 8/4 in col. Black (124).
