PATTERN INFORMATION

The dress is worked from the top down. First, work back and forth in stockinette stitch, creating a slit at the back of the neck, before the work is joined and worked in the round on circular needles 40 cm (15.7 in.) / 60 cm (23.6 in.)

There are 3 points of increases on the yoke; first increases for saddle shoulders, then increases for the sleeves and finally simultaneous increases for the sleeves and the yoke. The body can be knitted straight down without increases and without a bow for a gender-neutral design. If you want to make it more feminine, you work increases to shape the skirt. Stitches are knitted up along the neckline to create a thin I-cord edge - an I-cord strap is worked and a button is placed at the back of the neck. A mini or midi sized bow is worked separately and attached at the end. This decoration is completely optional.
